Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather, added a popcorn to our 100th day of school counting and as a class we sang our calendar songs. Today we had a visitor, Coco the hamster. We learned a little bit about hamsters.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Jolly Phonics – we reviewed our letter S and letter A songs. JKs are doing a great job singing, ask your child to teach you our songs at home. :) Then we tried to complete a page from our workbook where JKs had to trace and write the uppercase and lowercase A.
Recess and lunch
Language/Arts - today we continued with our "Me Bag" presentations. Everyone is doing a great job! :)

Fine motor Activity - JKs had the opportunity to play with tweezers, lacing and stamps.
Math – today we worked on numbers 1-10. We had a great fine motor activity where JKs also had the chance to count the beads in a set.

Centers - today during our centers time we spent some time "reading" to a friend. This is part of our daily five program - read to someone.
