Happy 2nd Day of School!

Another fantastic day with my JKs!

We began the day with a snack in the cafeteria, morning circle time and gym class with Ms. Yustin.
Then we read a book titled "The Kissing Hand". We talked about the book and how the first day of school made us feel. Next, we had recess and lunch.
After lunch we had some time to "read". We first talked about how to take care of our classroom books. We had some good laughs as I asked many silly questions such as "Can we eat books?" "Are books to be written in it?" "Are books to be used to hit our friends?"
We also talked about using our whispering voice to read.

Next, we had our first music class with Mr. Flower. As you can tell by the video he got them engaged! :)

Then we completed an activity where JKs had to draw a picture of themselves on their first day of school.
After second recess and lunch we had story time, French class and pack to go home.
