Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather, added a popcorn to our 100th day of school counting and as a class we sang our calendar songs.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Jolly Phonics - we sang the jolly phonics song for the letter S. Then we completed the letter S page from our workbook Writing with Phonics. Some friends practiced their pencil grip and as a class we practiced writing the letter in between the lines. Then we watched this video about the letter s. https://youtu.be/1I9652HzGWE
Recess and lunch
Daily Five - we read a funny book together titled: Splat the Cat - Back to School, Splat. Then JKs picked a book and "read" it to a friend.
Fine Motor Skills Activity - play dough
Math - our math today was tied with our UOI today. We sorted healthy and unhealthy snacks.
