In the morning JKs had snacks, morning circle and gym class.
Next, we learned our jolly phonics song of the week: https://youtu.be/ybiJTZNLvTI
Then JKs were instructed to form the uppercase and lowercase letter S using play dough.
Next we had indoor recess and lunch.
After lunch we had our daily five - listen to reading and read to someone. Then JKs had music class with Mr. Flower.
After music class, we had our math time where JKs had to look at the number at the beginning of each row and color the pictures matching the number.
Some friends needed more direction than others, but it is totally fine. I was actually observing more of the self-regulation than the math itself. JKs are learning that there is time to play with the toys in the class, but there is also time to sit and follow instructions.
Next, we had snacks and indoor recess.
To finish off the day we had centers and French class.
