Everyone is settling down...getting used to the teachers...routine...rules...I'm very proud of my JKs!
Today we began the day with our morning circle time where the special helper counted the days on our calendar, dressed up Jhony for the weather and we are counting our way to 100th day of school using pop corn numbers.
Next, we had snacks and gym class.
Then JKs had some time to enjoy centers. During centers time the goal is to expose students to emotional and cognitive development, promote social learning and skills of self-regulation.
After lunch we read a book titled "If You Bring a Mouse to School".
Then we used magnetic letters to build our names.
Next, we played with chalk outside and we were encouraged to write our names using the chalk.
After second lunch we had a story time, French class, pack up to go home and the prize box. JKs will receive a prize every Friday, if they show good listening throughout the week. :)
