Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where we shared something we did over the Christmas break, the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, we checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather, then we added a popcorn to our 100th day of school counting and as a class we sang our calendar songs.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Jolly Phonics – we reviewed the letters learned so far and sang our new jolly phonics song for the week which is letter L. https://youtu.be/oDViX6Y9Q_0

Language Arts – in language we identified the uppercase and lowercase by dabbing every time we found one of them. Then JKs used play dough to form the lowercase and uppercase L. After that JKs used play dough cutters to exercise and strength their fine motor skills.
Math – today we went on a pattern hunt around the school. As we found patterns we snapped a picture. We will be printing the pictures and making a pattern board.
