great Monday!
Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather, added a popcorn to our 100th day of school counting and as a class we sang our calendar songs.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Jolly Phonics – we reviewed the letters learned so far and sang our new jolly phonics song for the week which is letter F. Next, JKs put on their detective hats and dabbed all the Fs on their paper. For those students who mastered the letter recognition, they worked on the sight word: for. Take a look:

Math/UOI – in math we looked into AB and ABB patterns. JKs worked in groups and made AB and ABB pattern using manipulatives.

Centers – during centers time, JKs use their creativity while developing their imagination; they also develop emotionally and cognitively. Centers time promotes social learning and support students as they develop skills of self-regulation.
