Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather, added a popcorn to our 100th day of school counting and as a class we sang our calendar songs.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Jolly Phonics – we reviewed the letters learned so far and sang our new jolly phonics song for the week which is letter F. Next, we brainstormed words with F. Then JKs used play dough to form the lowercase and uppercase F. Those students who finished quickly, they were encouraged to form a word starting with F (fan, fun, fat, fog, fit).

Language Arts – today is day 1, so it is our library day. Ms. Hayward read us a book titled The Hat.

Math – in math we reviewed what a pattern is and completed a cut and paste activity. Then JKs had some time to use snowman cards/pictures to make patterns.
