Happy Wednesday

We had a great day!
Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather, added a popcorn to our 100th day of school counting and as a class we sang our calendar songs.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Jolly Phonics – we reviewed the letters learned so far and sang our new jolly phonics song for the week which is letter B.

Recess and lunch
Language Arts – we completed a page of our workbook where we practiced uppercase and lowercase B. We also worked on beginning sounds.

Poem Practice
Math - in math we completed a cut and paste activity involving ABAB pattern.

Recess and Lunch
Centers – during centers time, JKs use their creativity while developing their imagination; they also develop emotionally and cognitively. Centers time promotes social learning and support students as they develop skills of self-regulation.

   -      Please wear gym uniform tomorrow for our field trip.

-      Thursday and Friday - Bring $1.00-2.00 to visit Mr. Foster’s market. We will visit his market after our trip tomorrow and on Friday.

-      Show and Tell (letter B) – Deann, Ahmad, Lara, Evan and Ava.

-      Friday - Pattern Day (wear anything with a pattern: pants, socks, shirt, dress, sweater…no uniform is required)

-     Registration forms are due Feb. 11th
