We stayed indoors for first recess.
Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather, added a popcorn to our 100th day of school counting and as a class we sang our calendar songs.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Jolly Phonics – we reviewed the letters learned so far and sang our new jolly phonics song for the week which is letter L.
Recess and

Language Arts – we completed a page of our writing with phonics workbook, where JKs had to trace and write lowercase and uppercase L.
Math – in math we made a pattern board with the pictures we took on our pattern hunt on Wednesday. We also watched this sesame street video: https://youtu.be/pO9b7BTOIOU

Centers – during centers time, JKs use their creativity while developing their imagination; they also develop emotionally and cognitively. Centers time promotes social learning and support students as they develop skills of self-regulation.

After that we completed an activity which involved numeracy and patterning. JKs wrote numbers 1-20 and coloured in a ABAB pattern.
