Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather and as a class we sang our calendar songs.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Jolly Phonics – we reviewed the letters learned so far and sang our new jolly phonics song for the week which is letter X.
Recess and
lunch
Language Arts – we completed a page of our workbook where we practised writing uppercase and lowercase X. We also completed our journals where we wrote the following sentence: Winter is ________. JKs were encouraged to finish the sentence writing a word phonetically.
Library - JKs borrowed books from the library, we are keeping the books in a bin inside the classroom. Math/UOI – JKs inquired about different types of transportation. We had a friend sharing his knowledge about modes of transportation in India. Then we completed a cut and paste activity where we had to sort the objects by whether or not they have wheels.
Recess and Lunch
Centers – during centers time, JKs use their creativity while developing their imagination; they also develop emotionally and cognitively. Centers time promotes social learning and support students as they develop skills of self-regulation.
