Happy Monday

We had a great Monday!
Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather, added a popcorn to our 100th day of school counting and as a class we sang our calendar songs.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Jolly Phonics – we reviewed the letters learned so far and sang our new jolly phonics song for the week which is letter V. Here is the song for V:

Recess and lunch

Book Fair - we visited the book fair and made a list of things we liked. The list is in your child's agenda. If you wish your child to purchase the items listed, please send the money in labelled Ziploc bag.

Math –  in math we had centers where JKs played sorting and patterning.

Centers – during centers time, JKs use their creativity while developing their imagination; they also develop emotionally and cognitively. Centers time promotes social learning and support students as they develop skills of self-regulation

-         Monday, February 11th – re-registration forms are due

-         Wednesday, February 13^th – 100^th Day of School (students are to dress up as 100 years old)
