Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the
special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny
had the proper outfit for the today's weather, added a popcorn to our 100th day
of school counting and as a class we sang our calendar songs.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Jolly Phonics – we reviewed the letters learned so far and sang our new jolly phonics song for the week which is letter V.

Language Arts – we worked on beginning sounds. JKs had to look at the picture on their paper and circle the letter they heard at the beginning of the word.
Math – we finished our pattern presentations. Next we learned a new song for our geometry unit and looked for the shapes (2D and 3D) in our classroom. JKs the built using 3D shapes.

Centers – during centers time, JKs use their creativity while developing their imagination; they also develop emotionally and cognitively. Centers time promotes social learning and support students as they develop skills of self-regulation.
