Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather and as a class we sang our calendar/morning songs.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Language Arts/UOI – as a class we sorted pictures of animals into the 6 categories: fish, mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians and insects.

Math – today we had math centers. During centers we practiced simple addition, counting, reviewed patterns and sorting.
Recess and Lunch
Centers – during centers time, JKs use their creativity while developing their imagination; they also develop emotionally and cognitively. Centers time promotes social learning and support students as they develop skills of self-regulation.
