Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather and as a class we sang our calendar/morning songs.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Daily Five - we read to ourselves for 10 minutes and practiced writing short words on the small white boards.

Math – in math we continued with practicing addition. Today JKs used manipulatives to count and add, then they wrote the numbers.

Centers – during centers time, JKs use their creativity while developing their imagination; they also develop emotionally and cognitively. Centers time promotes social learning and support students as they develop skills of self-regulation.
