Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather, added a popcorn to our 100th day of school counting and as a class we sang our calendar songs. Today is Monday, so we each shared something fun we did on the weekend!
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Jolly Phonics – we sang our letter C and K jolly phonics song. This week will be a little bit tricky as told the students C and K have the same sound, but not the same shape.

Math – today we started our new data management unit. Actually before starting the unit, we usually do a pre assessment, just to have an idea of how much students know and areas we need to focus the most. Today I just gave them a variety of manipulatives and asked them to sort in any way they know (coulor, size or shape).
