We had a
great Tuesday!
Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather and as a class we sang our calendar/morning songs.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Show and tell - we had a couple of friends presenting as we didn't have enough time on Friday.

Learning goal: there are many
ways to describe and talk about the world using the language of mass and
capacity.
Success criteria: "I can
compare and order the capacity and mass of objects. I can use simple measurement
terms correctly (e.g. empty/full, heavy/light). I can order two or more objects
according to mass."
Centers – during centers time, JKs use their creativity while developing their imagination; they also develop emotionally and cognitively. Centers time promotes social learning and support students as they develop skills of self-regulation.
