We had a
great Thursday!
Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather and as a class we sang our calendar/morning songs.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Language Arts – we worked on our penmanship by completing a couple of pages of our Writing with Phonics workbook. In this book JKs practice writing within the lines, use of finger spacing and they also practice recognizing middle sounds.
Math – as part of our measurement unit, JKs practiced ordering pictures from tallest to smallest.

Recess and Lunch
Centers – during centers time, JKs use their creativity while developing their imagination; they also develop emotionally and cognitively. Centers time promotes social learning and support students as they develop skills of self-regulation.
