Math – today our learning goal was: there are many ways to describe and talk about the world using the language of size and length. Success Criteria: “I can compare and order the size, height, and length of objects. I can use simple measurement terms correctly (e.g., tall/short, big/small ). I can order two or more objects according to size. I can use non-standard measuring devices appropriately.”

Students were encouraged to do the following:

Each child picked a string and tried to find an object in the classroom that was longer, shorter, and about the same length.

Students repeated the activity using a different length of string.
