Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather and as a class we sang our calendar/morning songs.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Jolly Phonics – we reviewed the letters learned so far and sang our new jolly phonics song for the week which is letter Z. We have been also listening and learning some new songs which deals with short words and sight words. Here are some of the songs:

Language Arts – we worked on writing the uppercase and lowercase Z and we also worked on short words. JKs were encouraged to write short words stretching them out like the stretchy the word snake.
Math – in math we coloured our pajamas making patterns.

Centers – during centers time, JKs use their creativity while developing their imagination; they also develop emotionally and cognitively. Centers time promotes social learning and support students as they develop skills of self-regulation.
