Happy Friday!

We had a great Friday!
Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather, added a popcorn to our 100th day of school counting and as a class we sang our calendar songs.
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Jolly Phonics – today we sang our phonics song for all the letters learned so far.

Recess and lunch

Music Class - today we met our new music teacher, Ms. Cally. JKs performed our Christmas song, they shared something about themselves and learned a chant.
Math – in math we worked on matching the number with the tally marks.

Christmas Activity - JKs went on a gingerbread hunt with the SKs around the school. We found clues inside the Ms. Bannon's class, in the gym, in the reception and finally in the library.

Recess and Lunch
Centers – during centers time, JKs use their creativity while developing their imagination; they also develop emotionally and cognitively. Centers time promotes social learning and support students as they develop skills of self-regulation.
