Morning Circle Time - JKs participated in our circle time where the special helper put the number on the calendar and counted, checked if Johnny had the proper outfit for the today's weather and as a class we sang our calendar/morning songs. We were happy to see our butterflies! We have 2 so far! We fed them with pineapple, strawberry and orange. :)
Snacks - JKs were encouraged to eat their healthy snacks.

Daily Five - we listened to a variety of songs which dealt with letters sounds, letter recognition and short words.

Language Arts – we used play dough to form sight words such as: I, and, loo, can, you, at and see.
Math – in math we worked in numeracy where JKs had to fill in the missing numbers.

Recess and Lunch
Centers – during centers time, JKs use their creativity while developing their imagination; they also develop emotionally and cognitively. Centers time promotes social learning and support students as they develop skills of self-regulation.
